The first P.A.C. meeting for 2019-2020 is on
Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30 pm until approximately 8:00 pm in the school library.
• To attend the meeting, enter through the school’s main entrance and then go to the school library.
• Children are welcome! In the library, you can sign in your child(ren) to play in the gym. (Supervision by: AWESOME Queensborough Middle School volunteers).
As a parent or guardian of a child attending Queen Elizabeth Community School, you are already a member of the PAC!
The role of the PAC is to provide advice to the school about matters of importance to parents. In addition to providing advice to the school, the PAC also provides financial support through fundraising activities and logistical support through volunteering at special events and activities. Much of the communication between the PAC and the school typically happens at the monthly scheduled PAC meetings. At QE, PAC meetings are routinely held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00pm in the school library. This is to help ensure that our PAC meetings do not interfere with the middle school PAC meetings. Free childcare is provided to make it possible for parents to attend. Each year parents elect an executive to carry out the business of the Parent Advisory Council.
