Pumpkin Patch is Back!

Dear Queen Elizabeth School Community!

The Pumpkin Patch is Back! Huge thank you to Ms Blakeway for organizing the donation of 40+ pumpkins to the school for our annual Pumpkin Run. And a huge thanks to Save On Foods in Burnaby (Byrne Road) for the donation and the PAC for picking them up today and filling our Garden.

Our Pumpkin Run will be on Thursday, October 28th and scheduled as follows:

Kindergarten  – 9:45 AM
Grade 1 and 2s – 11:00 AM
Grade 3 and 4s – 11:45 AM

Parents are welcome to attend as spectators and are asked to remain on the grass, respectfully distanced from other families and please wear a mask. Students will follow the pathway from the Service Road, through Ryall Park, around the Spray Park and back over the bridge by the Tennis Courts. Please arrive on time for your child’s scheduled run to ensure you don’t miss it!

At the end of the day on Thursday, October 28th students from each class will be entered to win one of the pumpkins!

On Friday, October 29th students are welcome to wear Halloween Costumes to school. Classroom teachers will communicate any special considerations they have for students in their class for that day.

Thank you
P. Manville
