Principal’s Message – November 4th
Dear Queen Elizabeth School Community,
November is here and as expected, so is the cooler, wetter weather! Please see the following important information and be sure to check out the first 2022-23 edition of the Queen Elizabeth Elementary Monthly Learning Newsletter! We have messaged the link to the Newsletter out to all our families directly – please check your email – enjoy!
The weather has certainly changed and while we may have enjoyed the extra days of summer, the rain and cooler temperatures are welcomed as well. Please be reminded to dress your children appropriately for the weather. Inside days are rare at Queen Elizabeth. We believe students need fresh air and daily exercise and will only be kept inside when there is significant rain, wind, or freezing temperatures. It is important to prepare your children for wet and cold days with proper footwear (rubber boots), warm and waterproof jackets, and umbrellas if they choose.
Purdy’s Annual Winter Fundraiser
It’s that time of year again, our annual Purdy’s Fundraiser has officially started! Please support our students and teachers with your purchase of delicious treats from Purdy’s Chocolatier. 25% of all sales before taxes will be donated back to Queen Elizabeth Elementary. Students will be bringing home catalogs today, and there is also a link attached below.
We will be taking online orders until November 21st. Orders will be ready for pick up on Dec 1st.
