Principal’s Message – March 31st
Dear Queen Elizabeth School Community,
Welcome back everyone! We hope you all had a great Spring Break! Definitely nice to see the return of warmer weather this week and our school community can expect far more outdoor activity to begin, particularly in our outdoor learning area and the school garden.
As the weather improves, we hope to see even more families walking and rolling to school! The school grounds are a busy place at drop off and pick up. Please be aware and WALK bikes and scooters until you are off school grounds and can safely begin rolling. Parents with dogs are asked to meet students off the school grounds (along the service road or city sidewalk). While we appreciate that walking to school with your dogs is ideal and efficient, and we want to continue to encourage families to walk as much as possible, please be aware that there is a city bylaw prohibiting dogs on the school grounds, even the best behaved ones!
Grade 4 Graduation Hoodies!
The Grade 4 Grad have sized up, signed the logo and chosen their colours! The order has been placed and we can expect delivery by mid to late April. Parents will see a charge of $25 attached to their School Cash Account today. The PAC has paid for a portion of each child’s hoodie – thank you for your generous support!
