Principal’s Message – June 16th

A huge thank you once again to our amazing Grade 4 Families, Staff and Students for our Grade 4 Graduation Day yesterday. Participation in our Graduation Ceremonies and the Pizza Lunch provided by the PAC were so very appreciated. It was a Great Day.
Special thanks to Harpeet Bal, Bernadette Gourlay, Melissa Porras, and Laura Ranaletta for putting on our Lunch for students.
We will miss our Grade 4’s so very much – we wish you all the best as you head off to Queensborough Middle School.
Honey!
Our Bees have been busy! Divisions 11, 12, 13, and 17 have been learning about Honey Bees and in the past few weeks have participated in workshops provided by the PAC and Alveole, the company that provides and manages our school BeeHive. Students learned a lot and it has been exciting for us to welcome the Hive home to its new spot behind our modular buildings.
Now its your turn to have a piece, or jar, of the action. The PAC is offering 100ml jars of our Hive’s Honey to interested families. We will start with the Grade 4 families, as they are soon to head off to Middle School, who are able to purchase one jar of this liquid gold. After June 23rd, any remaining jars will be available to families in K-3!
Grade 4 families please check your School Cash Online Accounts now for ordering information. K-3 families stay tuned and we will open up ordering for you after June 23rd if jars remain.

Moving?
Is your family planning to move and not return to QE next year? Please let us know as soon as able, this information is critical to our planning and organization for 2023-34! This of course does not apply to our current Grade 4 students heading to QMS.
